Ejari is an initiative of RERA aimed at regulating the Rental Market of Dubai. It is a novel system that will enable Law No. 26 of 2007 to become effective. It is designed to manage the relationship between concerned parties, namely the landlords and tenants in Dubai.
Q 2. Is Ejari registration mandatory?
Yes Ejari registration is mandatory under the Law No. 26 of 2007 and following amendments of Dubai law.
All contracts should be registered with Ejari to ensure that the Dubai rental market becomes one of the most transparent in the world and ensure peace of mind for both tenants and landlords alike.
Registering your tenancy contract in Dubai is now mandatory for:
New/renewal of residence visas
Obtaining a commercial license
Employing domestic staff
Acquiring a liquor license
Q 3. Is your credit card safe when you make the online payment.
We provide a PayPal gateway to pay Ejari registration fees.

Q 5. What type of contracts requires Ejari registration?
All tenancy contracts including residential, commercial, freehold and non-freehold properties have to be registered with Ejari.
Q 6. Who should register with Ejari?
Tenants or landlords should register the tenancy contract upon signing the agreement.
However, generally the tenant applies for Ejari registration and bare the associated cost.

Q 9.What you will receive as a result of tenancy contract registration?
The Original Ejari Certificate and Stamped Ejari Certificate will be sent to you by email.
Q 10. What is an Ejari certificate?
The Ejari Certificate is an official file generated by the Ejari online system and acts as proof of tenancy contract attestation.
Q 11. When will your certificate be delivered to you?
The Ejari certificate will be sent to your email normally on the same day after receiving your application and payment.
If any document is missing, is not a clear copy or is incomplete then the registration process may be delayed until we get the complete set of required files.
We register your contracts directly with the Land Department to guarantee the smoothest, fastest process.Therefore our service is available from Sunday to Thursday in accordance with Government working hours (from 9 am till 5 pm).

Q 19. Can you access Ejari system and register the contract by yourself?
You need to register for an Ejari account first. Only landlords, landlord representatives, property management companies and its employees can apply for Ejari account.
A 1-day training course at RERA is mandatory, after you receive the certificate you need to visit the Land Department to complete the Ejari registration.
